The Shot heard ‘Round the World:  “The British are coming!”  The Battle of Lexington was the first battle of the Revolutionary war.  The British military were marching from Boston to Concord on the night of April 18, 1775 with the intent to seize an arms cache.  Thanks to patriot spies, Paul Revere, and others were able to sound the alarm and warn the people, famously quoting “The British are coming,” and the militiamen were able to prepare.  Early the next morning, the two sides clashed. To this day, no one knows who shot first. Nonetheless, the American War for Independence had begun with “the shot heard ‘round the world.”

Much like the colonists before, you can kick off your summer with a fight for your teams supremacy…
